Let the dust settle

Our mind is like a jar of water.

When the water's clear it represents a peaceful mind. When it's muddy that's when you know you're bombarded by troubling thoughts, thoughts that make you stressed out.

Your best bet at that time is not to stir the water further and let the dust settle at the bottom of the jar. That's when you'll have the needed clarity to answer your questions.

Let's have an example:

Have you ever had the situation where you're stuck at a problem for hours only to find out that you solve the problem after a good night's sleep?

That is a very good example of our previous analogy.

You see, as you let your muddy thoughts settle down, the answer that you were seeking initially, rose up to the surface and became visible.

It's natural and easy to panic. However, sometimes, it's best to let things go for the moment and revisit them with a clear mind later on.

Go easy.

You mind has the ability to answer your questions only when it's in a state of clarity. If you want answers, let the dust settle.

Don't say YES to everything instantly
