Have your own routine

First things first. There's no single golden routine that satisfies everyone.

Everyone's different. Yes, you and me, are quite different, in our own ways. For the same reason, what works for me might not work for you.

Since we are talking about routines here, it would be an injustice not to talk about the sudden rise of morning routines on the internet. Routines which suggest that you need to get your most important things done by 8 or 9 in the morning.

Let's face the reality here:

Not everyone's a morning lark. The world is filled with night owls and they achieve success too.

So, no, you don't actually need to be a morning person to achieve your goals. As long as you are getting stuff done efficiently throughout the day, you should be fine.

Give up being perfect for being authentic.

I'm more comfortable with getting things done by the late hour. To be fair, I tried out waking up early and work, didn't suit me well.

Stop following social media influencers blindly.

Pick out the time when you're most comfortable working and stick to it. Get adequate sleep every night and have a healthy diet.

If you do these, you're all set.

Don't let someone misguide you to follow something that you aren't comfortable with. Take advice with caution.

You are unique, you're creative in your own hours, structure your routine accordingly.
