Sometimes when we get stuck and find no one immediate helping us out we take the world as a selfish place.
However, that's not true. There's always someone who'll help you out.
I learned this today while returning home from the office.
It was raining heavily. And as expected, most of the cab and auto drivers turned to cave mode. No one would accept my booking although it was just 2 km away.
I could've walked but I didn't have my raincoat. So, I waited and kept trying.
After juggling between Uber and Ola willing to pay even 6X the normal fare, I got my booking confirmed by an auto driver.
A sense of relief?
Not yet. Most drivers accept their booking, call up the passenger and ask them to cancel the ride.
To clear things out, I called up the driver and asked if he was coming. He said yes.
I waited for 10 mins losing hope every minute. To my surprise, he did come to pick me up.
What a wonderful man he was. When everyone declined, this guy came to my rescue.
I left him a 5-star rating and a glowing review.
Good people exist around you. You might not get help immediately every time but if you keep looking, someone will help you out eventually.
Just keep looking.
