Hustling too much

I see articles every day on the internet asking us to hustle. Some even go to the extent of suggesting you sacrifice sleep time to get your job done.

While I like the idea of hustling, I don't approve hustling over proper sleep.

You see, sleep is a necessity. Your body needs proper rest to recover from all the grinding you did all day at work.

Even if you don't feel tired physically after sitting in front of the computer for 7-8 hours a day, you're mentally exhausted. Pushing your brain into overdrive with a shitload of caffeine won't help you, it'll harm you.

Sleep is that golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.

There are numerous side-effects of not getting enough sleep. More about that in this article here.

The key takeaway is that hustling is good only in a reasonable amount. It challenges you and makes you grow. Make sure you're taking care of your body while you're trying to make a name out there.

You've got one place to live and that's your body. It's your real permanent address. Treat it well.

Don't burn yourself up and step up on that deathbed in the name of hustling.

Been there, done that. Not cool.

Take care.

There is a fine line between hustling and hustling too much. The latter can screw you up.
