Life is a science lab

Whether you grew up watching Dexter's Laboratory or found yourself spending a quality time at your school or college lab, experiments seemed like something that was bound to a physical room with loads of fancy equipment.

In reality, it's nothing like that.

The beauty of experiments is that they are not bound to any tangible substance. Your whole life is a science lab and you can run experiments on it.

You can choose to try out a new skill. Make new friends. Take a risk with your business. Fall in love with someone. Visit new places.

Every decision you make is like running an experiment, where you are the subject. Your future is based on the results of those experiments.

The more experiments you run, more interesting your life will turn out to be. Doing the same thing over and over again for years can make your life seem boring.

I am bored with my job right now. I am looking out to try something different. This is one of the main reasons why I started my fitness blog called Elth. I find the subject pretty interesting.

Actually, this isn't new to me.

Over the years I have been running experiments of my own. From blogging to content writing, to web development, to creating Android apps.

To spice things up, I am planning to get into video or podcasting, this coming year. Let's see how that turns out for me. Fingers not crossed, though.

Anyways, the goal is to be spontaneous and keep trying new things. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Trust me, you will feel a lot better once you do.

Try something new today. Maybe a hobby that you have been putting off for some time now.

You will love the experience. Just try.

Life can become beautiful and interesting once you leave your comfort zone and start trying out all the new things this world has to offer.
