Today, I witnessed a rare moment. A Super Blue Blood Moon. It was stunningly beautiful. A beauty that steals hearts.
Not only was it beautiful but also an extremely rare event. Rarer than Halley’s Comet. According to Space.com:
“It was the first total lunar eclipse since 2015 and the first Blue Moon Blood Moon visible from the U.S. since 1866!”
As a matter of fact, I was about to miss this, that was until my girlfriend asked me to go out with her and see it.
I don’t usually say no to going out with her, so, I agreed. Also, since I always have had a weak spot for the cosmos, it seemed to be an interesting event.
Thank God, and her that I didn’t miss this. The moment I saw light peeking out of a corner of the big red moon, like a diamond ring in the sky, I knew this memory will last a lifetime. Going out to see this with my better half made it even more memorable.
In this modern era, we’re generally too busy to make time for these seemingly stupid but incredibly beautiful moments. That is what makes our lives even more boring.
You aren’t going to remember how many hours you crunched at the office when you’re old and wrinkly. What you’ll be nostalgic about are all these awesome moments that you spend.
So, don’t be too busy to miss these and numerous other little but happy moments out there. Your future self will thank you for not living your life like a robot.
Go out and have some fun. You’ll get a chance to work tomorrow as well. These moments, however, happens only once in a lifetime.
Stop missing out the fun. Step out of that cubicle and enjoy life.
