Doing things the right way

Today I was faced with a classic problem: taking the right approach or the easy one.

Believe me, my mind tried to cut me a deal to take the easy way out, over 100 times. However, my integrity said, "do the right thing".

Guess who won at the end?

Although doing the right thing means working more and taking more time to finish up the work but at the end of the job, I'll be satisfied. I'll know that I've done the right thing.

I've dwelled on taking shortcuts all my life. If there's anything that I can tell you is don't take the easy way.

The right way might seem hard at the moment but in the end, you'll take home a suitcase of lessons.

Success is simple. Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.
— Arnold H. Glasow

Most people choose the easy way. You're not most people.

Always choose the right way over the easy one.

There's the easy way to do something. There's the right way to do the same thing. Choosing the latter will make you grow.
