The why of anything

Whenever you're about to do start a new habit or a project, ask yourself one simple question:

"Why am I doing this?"

Continue with the project or the habit only if you have a clear answer to that question. You should be able to answer that question without too much thought.

For example, if you ask me why am I publishing daily, my answer will be:

“To make a treasure chest of my ideas and happenings in life for an entire year which can serve as a bank of inspiration in the future.”

Once you've determined the why of anything, it's easier to stick to that habit or project.

Motivational video and speeches are only good for a short period of time from a few hours to a few days. Willpower will only get you so far.

It's the why that'll keep your boat sailing through the tides of frustration and help you see the end of the line.

Start questioning yourself.

Always ask yourself why you're doing what you're doing or about to do. Without a solid reason, it's unlikely you'll get far.
