There is a subtle difference between wanting and needing. Rarely do they overlap.
For example, I want a suit by Emporio Armani. However, do I actually need one right now? No.
I also want to be an entrepreneur but do I need to be one to survive? No. I need a job and I have one right now. Maybe someday, I'll become an entrepreneur.
Need precedes want, always. However, want is what drives you forward and makes you grow.
Needs are finite whereas wants are an everlasting hunger. There's no end to wanting.
Keep your life simple and meaningful by maintaining a fine balance between the two.
Do what you want. Buy what you actually need.
